The entry/exit at Panalatinga/South Rd intersection needs more work as there's no exit (shown on plans) there for those travelling north on the expressway. Even southbound appears restricted with possibly no left turn into South Road.

So Flaxmill Road is set to reopen sometime this afternoon. I noticed the rebuilt bridge is still a bit of a chicane between Sunningdale Drive and Brodie Road. They missed a good opportunity to widen that section of road to match the rest :wallbash: When will these so called road design people ever l...

NBN Co's work in relation to MDU's leaves a lot to be desired... after 3 months discussion, etc. they still can't tell me whether I'll get connected before the copper services in my area are terminated in March 2015 even though fibre was rolled out past our MDU 9 months ago! Their excuse: MDU...

I think they may even still struggle to meet the mid year timeline. Very true - I drove past the other day and noticed that the Honeypot Road bridge still needed spans in place. Similarly the Flaxmill Road bridge is a little further advance with some spans in place, but I doubt if either will meet ...

Re the gantries on South Road and Ocean Boulevard, there's an article in this week's Southern Times confirming that they're part of the Safe T Cam network and are expected to go live sometime in October 2013. Their main purpose apparently is to monitor unregistered motor vehicles and motor vehicles ...

I've noticed gantries have been erected both sides of Main South Road, Top of Taps, just north of the Victoria Hotel, much like the ones on Ocean Boulevard (discussed in an earlier post). When I went past yesterday they hadn't installed any cameras or other gear as yet. I daresay the Southern Expres...
