The crane has gone up at 17 Hutt St, this crane was previously at 150 Grenfell St and was stored at 301 Pirie St since been taken down in Grenfell St.

I too actually liked the GHD building with the brown glass.

Work has also started on the Bloom apartment building, (further north from banksia building). This building has a basement level car park.

The new crane at Mawson Lakes is at 25 Metro Parade. The previous crane was at 1-3 Metro Parade. This site appears to be some new apartment project 6-7 stories. Close to Mawson lakes Station.

PS the cranes at bolivar sewage works and Lyale McEwin hospital are still up.

The crane at 301 Pirie St is for 17 Hutt St, the builders have been using the Pirie St site as a working storage area.

Tower crane could go up this week end at 17 Hutt St - picture today (27/2/2024) shows some tower sections in place within the lift well.

Now after more than a year, this project is finally starting to rise above the ground.

Now (26/2/24) starting work on level 8.
