[COM] Re: 52-66 King William Street | 65m | 15 Levels | Southern Cross Arcade
The post-drill email mentioned this being Adelaide's largest office building in terms of employee numbers, and that they'll learn from the experience. I don't think the idea of evacuating one floor at a time is realistic in a real fire when people are in mortal danger. If I'm not wrong, modern fire...

[PRO] Re: Grange-Holbrooks-East Ave Dog Leg
This project is long overdue. I wonder if there has been any discussion into removing the Marion/HBR/Holbrooks Rd dog leg as well? Or is this one in the too hard/expensive basket?

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
That doesnt seem right. The Tram Grade Sep program alone is a $400m 50:50 state/feds contribution. not that i dont want even more rail investment, but the numbers dont seem to align. Grade separation programs aren't really an investment in public transport, though. They benefit road users more so t...

It's embarrassing how long this derelict building has been allowed to stand in the heart of our CBD for.

There was a news story on this tonight. The hotel will open in August this year, with two more hotels under the Marriott brand set to open in Adelaide in future. One being the Westin Hotel which has signed an agreement with the Freemasons to occupy the hotel in their new tower, and the other will be...

Rewind 15 years and the site where this building and Building 1 stand was public space. It seems to ask why is public space being given up to a developer to build an office tower. Could the tower not be built on the site of the Riverside Centre? Or between the Intercontinental and North Terrace. Th...

The latest update on Belles Hot Chicken is that they'll finally open their Adelaide store in April. Considering little is known of where they're opening, I'm not too convinced of this, but happy to be proven wrong. Proven wrong you are! :D Belles Hot Chicken will be located in the Netter Building o...

[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Incl. 115m Tower | $800 million
Inasmuch as the Keystone Tower is counting on AMOSAH to get off the ground, the proposed civic space in this building probably made it all the harder. I was thinking this too. Not a great outcome. Agree. Walker trying to take out some competition I feel. I recall MicBara talking about the Freemason...
