So it's approved, but this being Adelaide, what are the chances that it still doesn't get up?
Incredibly low given the Mason's are retaining more than 50% controlling interest and this is key to their plan to secure their charity giving well into the future whilst preserving their own history ...

There was a small fire on the brush fence on the Eastern property line on North Terrace today at about 4:05 pm.
I didn't get a photo, I was passing by on a bus.

A photo like that reminds you just how damn flat the Adelaide Plains really are.
From the end of the airport runway.
it's an airport FFS... would you rather it be on the side of a hill?
the only reason you can see 88 O'Connell Street from there so prominently is because of the elevation ...

With the oval at Lyndoch Park being upgraded for Gather Round 2025 and future events, seems like the perfect time to reinstate the Barossa rail line that runs right alongside the grounds.

Just over 10 years since this thread and the first concept design was posted here. Certainly very different!
I count 27 levels, should be over the 100m mark! Nice design too!

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
Scrap on-street parking down O'Connell. There's what, 100 car parks at the most? Probably less because of current bus stops and laneways and entrances. Trams run down the existing parking lanes and have the stops directly onto the footpaths. The benefit is that the buses can use the same stops and O ...
