Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
New "The Big Grill" on the north east corner of Topham Mall and Waymouth Street looks like finishing touches being added. Seems to be a large convenience store with a grill/takeaway and coffee/bakery. Will be open 24/7 so will add some more life to this area. The convenience store between ...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses
Some tweaks to AdelaideMetro timetables and stop numbering effective from tomorrow - doesn't appear to be much but normally there is more than a day's notice (appears AdMet only posted it today).

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
The regional coach logo looks promising. Integrating passenger information for the coaches run by LinkSA/Stateliner/etc into the wider AdMet network and website just makes sense. If I understand it correctly, operation-wise they're losely similar to the city buses; the government releases a contrac...

Re: News & Developments: Mawson Lakes
Interesting to see Renewal SA are selling the land at Mawson Lakes that includes most of the bus interchange and all the car parking. I gather various easements and Land Management Agreements will be in place to ensure ongoing public access. I presume a developer will do some form of commercial and ...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses
Some areas lose their public transport completely. I am also unhappy with the loss of most of the night buses... I have used them often in the past, even though I had to walk an extra 15 minutes to get home from the nearest route. Now it will be more like an extra 30 minute walk. Or, pay the price ...

[U/C] Re: Westfield Tea Tree Plaza (Extension)
Looks like Schnitz won't be back for some time. Their Facebook page has advised they'll be closed for the foreseeable future. I find that odd given their product was easily available as take away. I imagine many cafes and restaurants in the new bit will close up without cinema action and dine in op...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
I don't understand what they mean with "Accelerate the introduction of a range of new Apps that provide customers with better real-time information about their public transport services to make it easier to find information". They already have MetroMate, and real-time info works with Goog...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses
Was due to be released this Thursday(30/4), but what I was told when I rang the info line today, that they are still working on finalising the plans for release, so unfortunately it looks like we will have to wait a little longer(this is DPTI -they don't move very fast!). I rang the AdMet info line...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses
Also I presume the actual AdelaideMetro consultation will be out in the not too distant future given consultation starts in April - maybe next week? Was due to be released this Thursday(30/4), but what I was told when I rang the info line today, that they are still working on finalising the plans f...

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport Contracts, Service & Policy
Anyone here know when the consultation on the new AdelaideMetro network will begin? The AdMet website just says from April until 30 June - I presume it'll start this week or next still?

Re: News & Discussion: Other Transport Projects
Looking on Google Maps I would say a route could be - Bald Hills Rd, right Old Princes Hwy, left Nairne-Woodside Rd, right Onkaparinga Valley Rd, left Woodside Rd, right Main St Lobethal, left Cudlee Creek Rd, left Gorge Rd, right Tippett Rd, left North East Rd, left Lower North East Rd to Grand Jun...
