[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway
Hopefully once Torrens to Darlington begins the government will set to work planning the next big infrastructure project so we can retain the skills gained from this project and roll that expertise over to the next project. Likewise with the group that will be grade separating the tram line.

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway
A lot of the ceash barriers on the off ramps seem to be damaged, even the Superway off ramp to Grand Junction Road has been impacted.
When will any of it be fixed?
Noticed the one at the beginning of Southern Expressway (Tonsley) has recently been fixed in the last few weeks after being ...

^^ is the spot where the northern tunnels end and return to the current south rd street level?
I came across this the other day on the T2D Project website. So the Northern Tunnel comes back to surface/reverts to Lowered Motorway somewhere before Ashwin Pde/West Thebarton Rd.

What makes you think there's going to be a tunnel at Cross Road?
The statement on the DPTI site says that there will also be overpasses and underpasses, as well as lowered motorway and surface motorway elements.
My guess is the northern tunnel will end before the Gallipoli underpass and the ...

Now we have to hope the Libs don't butcher this and give us two tunnels that are only two lanes wide.
Here's a render from the State Budget Overview.

is there more layers of bitumen to go down in the trench at Darlington? when you enter the trench at the northern end when travelling south the surface has been scraped and there are large raised sections around the man hole covers of the inspection ports. doesn't look finished at all

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway
From a future proofing perspective I really hope any tunnels are three lane. Any tunnels built will likely be in service for the rest of the century.
This. Every video animation I've seen so far has 2 lane tunnels both ways. Concerning.
