[COM] Re: Goodwood/Springbank/Daws Road Intersection

That is so wrong. It was allocated and Lucas took it out of the budget. She needs to ask her own side what happened to the money. Where did it go? A hotel maybe? 🤔🧐 My favourite Flint moment was leading up to the second leadership spill last year, when she posted a status on Facebook along the line...

Not overly tall after all that.
Hopefully that means Sky Adelaide will still go ahead. This development along with Sky would form a decent little cluster alongside the SAPOL building and the Calvary Hospital. If only that carpark on the corner across the road got developed too.

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Hotel

Gee, there is so much hysterical supposition about this development. I honestly believe that soon after it is up and running some people here will be embarrassed by their lefty anti Liberal Government position. It's a bloody loan that will be repaid, and it is an Australian first for a major stadiu...

[COM] Re: Armada Arndale (Redevelopment) | $200m

Maybe the owners of Arndale should pressure the state govt to rename Kilkenny train station to 'Arndale Centre', it's about a 10min walk from the shopping centre which is a similar distance as Westfield Marion is from Oaklands station  Woodville Park Station is actually an even closer walk.

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

The Glenelg tram takes approximate 10 minutes more to travel from vic square to mostly square- as the train to Grange. It is a similar distance give or take a k and the tram had more than twice the number of stops, and has to contend with street running either end. Not to say the tram is running an...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

With regard also as to light v heavy rail, I happened to be in SA last week and used both the Glenelg tram and the Grange train. What struck me was the incredible slow pace of the train. It was virtually walking pace out of Adelaide yard, and barely 40 km/h to Bowden. The tram on the other hand, se...
