Not likely to ever see the A380 on regular services in and out of Adelaide given that a lot of airlines have preference in ordering twin engine A350s and B787 Dreamliners for direct longer flights over the A380s. Even Emirates, the biggest supporter of the A380s is turning away from this model. Yea...

I remember years ago, probably around 2018, I read an article stating that Emirates was considering bringing their A380 offering to Adelaide. Shame thats not happening anymore.

I have contacted the developer and they indicated that construction is planned to begin in the first quarter of 2023.
