I'm not great with budget papers but it looks like the whole $51M is accounted for in the 22-23 and 23-24 estimates and completion is still expected by June 2024. Unless I'm missing something? Not likely to ever see the A380 on regular services in and out of Adelaide given that a lot of airlines have preference in ordering twin engine A350s and B787 Dreamliners for direct longer flights over the A380s. Even Emirates, the biggest supporter of the A380s is turning away from this model. Yea...

I remember years ago, probably around 2018, I read an article stating that Emirates was considering bringing their A380 offering to Adelaide. Shame thats not happening anymore.
