Looks great, and that photo from realestate.com.au shows a wonderful view. I doubt my office will have the premium view, but fingers crossed.

The glazing quality looks good. Under blue skies it's blue obviously, but even under overcast skies it takes on a pleasing silvery quality. I think it goes some way to bringing King William Street into the twenty-first century.

That's pretty cool to know - it will be the largest of them all. As noted above, five separate city offices of Services Australia will be consolidated into this one, including the rather large Naylor House on Flinders Street, Centrelink staff, Child Support staff and Medicare staff. In my current bu...

This morning: Screenshot_20230105-074007_Video Player.jpg It appears the very top storey hasn't been glazed at all yet. As an aside, I also found our internal document about the Services Australia fitout. It's nothing to write home about - the dunnies, lifts and so on will be in the core, and the co...

Re: News & Discussion: General CBD Development

A rare view of this building without logos - I think this is only the fourth time in the building's lifetime. (From State Bank to Sturt's desert pea, from that to Santos, from Santos to Westpac, and from Westpac to RAA). I like the renders with RAA signage - the white and yellow goes well with the g...

Re: News & Discussion: General CBD Development

Whenever I fly home to Adelaide, I book a window seat on the port side of the aircraft if at all possible, so I can see that brilliant view of the CBD if the plane flies over North Adelaide. It's surely one of the great airport approach views in Australia - as picturesque as city views come. I love ...

Whats wrong with hot desking? Police don't get their own individual patrol vehicles, its not economical and a waste of tax payers money. If your jobs can be done in a hybrid mix, then that's a good thing. Saves us taxpayers having to fund personalised work stations for every public sector worker. I...

On that note regarding hybrid work, my colleagues at Services Australia have mentioned a rumour that 60 King William St will have only 100 desks allocated to our division, while our division is a lot more than 100 staff. No one is suggesting that the division will shrink, so people are concerned th...

G'day everyone - first time post. I've always been interested in seeing my beloved Adelaide develop and been browsing this site for years. I thought I'd chime in this thread since I work for Services Australia and this building will be be my new office. Most of us staff are very excited about the ne...
