Mate, they've already said if it wasn't for that person lying they wouldn't have put us in lockdown. We're talking about the LOCKDOWN..not the overall outbreak.

But SBD will turn this into a multi page discussion with irrelevant things he will now post about. :wallbash:

[U/C] Re: 269 North Terrace | 118m | 36 Levels | Student accommodation

The building companies such as Synergy must be disappointed with this unnecessary lockdown. Three stagnant days where the site bleeds money paying for equipment which it leases. The 2022 election cannot come quickly enough. The "unnecessary" lockdown appears to be stopping South Australia from repl...

Paul Starick: Repurpose Woomera detention centre for COVID-19 quarantine Why risk an outbreak by having a quarantine hotel in the middle of the city? Re: I hope everyone is travelling well and getting through this.

The standards at the medi hotels have been very poor. How do you know, by your own admission you didn't go inside, you only saw the front desk staff. I can accept that a cleaner at the Peppers hotel picked up the virus from a surface. However if all the staff at the hotel were wearing masks and dis...

Re: Tunnel under the airport ASAP!

Too bad you didn't measure the depth! Neither did you. It looks deep enough from Google Streetview. drain.png Even if it needs to be lowered, that's still much cheaper than buying up neighbouring properties or building a tunnel. I suggest you delete the new thread. You seem like a nice person to be...

ps, his name/photo/etc are all information in the public domain on facebook and other social media that he chose to share. He might have chosen to share it on social media, but I would hope that people aren't irresponsibly sending it around and promoting vigilantism. Thankfully we live in a country...

Re: I hope everyone is travelling well and getting through this.

Wow, just wow. So it turns out people that we are in lockdown because a migrant worker lied about being a customer at the Woodville Pizza Bar, when the truth is he is a worker there. That small difference spiralled the situation, sent authorities into a state of emergency and panic, and they locked ...

[VIS] Re: New inner-city stadium

Some of you seem to think that just building a stadium will draw people to it. All stake holders involved need to be involved, to market it and sell it, and create ALL the reasons for people to be drawn to it. As part of the Port Adelaide community, I can say that we were hearing about Adelaide Oval...

Re: Tunnel under the airport ASAP!

So a surface level motorway through suburbia is a no go, but an elevated motorway through suburbia is ok? :sly: A surface level motorway through a residential area is not OK, particularly if it divides communities. An elevated motorway through commercial and industrial areas is far less of a proble...

Re: Tunnel under the airport ASAP!

Could a train line be included as well?, up the centre of James Congdon Drive, cross over to the parklands near the Mile End stop. South bound JCD could have a short overpass over the train line crossing over it. I think a train is possible in the drain instead of an O-Bahn. The problem is how does...

Bowden – the so call wonderful urban design masterpiece of urban renewal. Well is reality it has far more vacant land with weeds growing out of it than new buildings. Once the area was another bustling hub of productivity – now it is a wasteland. Tram& train stops next to it, yet car parking conges...

Re: Tunnel under the airport ASAP!

rev, So because a watercourse runs from west of the City to the airport, you think it's OK to blight some residential suburbs by running a motorway through them on that alignment? There are many things that could be done - it doesn't actually mean they're worth doing. We don't have the demand for h...
