Was just watching the news on ten. They showed a shot of the skyline from across the river torrens, really put it into perspective what an impact this would have.

The thing with areas like the port, with undeveloped land, old/trust houses, is that they will all be undergoing urban renewal. There is only one way for prices to go, and that is up. Wow, talk about getting things down quickly.
And I cant believe my eyes. You usually see one guy working at roadwork sites, and the rest standing around, but on this they all seem to be working.

As crawf says, whilst there maybe many potential up and coming areas... the Port would be my best bet for property investment. Close to the Outer Harbor line too, therefore close to the city. If you don't mind me asking, how do you come to that conclusion? I just don't see what will drive growth in...

Australia hasnt hosted APEC in yonks. I think we hosted the very first one back in the 80's?.
Anyway, Id steer clear of the convention center, not that you'll get in.
