Re: Fourth hottest day on record - 45.1 degrees!

I think there's a good chance we could break the record today. It's only just dropped below 32, to 31.9. They are forecasting 46 and sunny. Yesterday was cloudy most of the day which kept temperatures down. Wont be cloudy today, so we are in for a scorcher. Pity for us fools who have to work in it a...

Re: Pie Face headed to SA

What is Pie Face and why should we care? Perigine employees were on tv a few months back, when the new Mogas on Henley Beach Rd dropped prices to 99cents for unleaded, and they copied, and were complaining how they are all the little guy and everyone should support their business. The little guy doe...

Re: Drive to update Memorial Drive tennis hub

[...] As I have said many times before, these smaller sporting teams in Adelaide, Adelaide United(+womens & youth teams), the netball, the 36ers, all need to be moved to a multipurpose, highly configurable venue that incorporates tennis. They will all be better off financially, which will help ...

[COM] Re: #U/C: Victoria Square Upgrade - $24m

That's right. Those things while good and much needed, are all paid for by the government(by our taxes). That is all typical infrastructure you would expect in a capital city. There is very little private investment in major projects or developments. Because our economy stinks. We need jobs. Steven ...

I like that..BANANA. :hilarious: People need to restrain their optimism. Some things might be changing...but our state economy is stagnant. Off topic a little but Id prefer the states economy was fixed and me jobs created before most other things. That and increased spending on infrastructure. Why ...

I've been looking at the CFS website..the number of incidents has more then double in about 2 hours. There's 31 incidents, 3 of t...

[U/C] Re: News & Discussion: South Road / North-South Corridor

Just like every time the discussion about tolls comes up, both sides fall over them selves trying to convince everyone they wont introduce tolls. It's just political games/spin. But now they are taking a soft approach to get us used to them perhaps, by possibly introducing them for freight vehicles....

Wow, $4 million dollar investment? Shiiiit..that'll bring all the big names! Meanwhile, Rod Laver Arena and surrounds will undergo a $380 million dollar upgrade. shading grandstands I love this bit. [U/C] Re: News & Discussion: South Road / North-South Corridor

I never really got the necessity of this elevated rail at Croydon. It removes a bad level crossing. Combined with the under grounding at Bowden, it would mean there wouldn't be any level crossings from the city until Kilkenny Rd. But South road is being trenched in that section so it will go under ...

Please do share your video. It'll be good for a laugh. The rest of your post is so ridiculous and self righteous it doesn't warrant reply, other than to say that friends and colleagues (who happen to be Muslim) would be (rightly) offended at being called extremists, when they are among the most gen...
