Wendy's Supa Sundaes in the Myer Centre Food Court isn't there anymore.
And since it's next door to the former lolly shop/salad bar, I assume they're going to be leased as one soon!
And the former Motoquip store is still for lease for more than 5 years now.

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
The Myer Centre should be knocked down and rebuilt with retail and eateries on ground level, London Tavern on second floor with balcony, then floors of offices/apartments/hotel rooms on levels above. If Big W did move into mall it should be a combined Woolworths , Big W store. I remember a restaura...

Re: Harris Scarfe has gone broke
Some people have said they went broke in 2001 and then kept on operating so this could happen again. What rubbish, in 2001 there was no such thing as online shopping. The market was completely different back then. As a Wise Man once told us; "Once Upon A Time, our Daily Newspapers did genuinely car...

[COM] Re: Masters Adelaide Airport
There was an article in today’s Advertiser saying it’s a $15m cost for the conversion by Bunnings & it should be open by mid 2020. Bunnings seems to be killing all of the competition. Total tools in thebarton is now closed. Though the newest Total Tools in Windsor Gardens (the former Lloyds) has op...

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
Travel Money Oz on Grenfell St (south side) has been transformed into a new Flight Centre branch.
Good idea in my opinion because the one on the north side closed a few years ago.

Imagine how many vacant lots are in the Food Court as of today?
Looks like the Myer Centre could be winding up in a few months.

Eating In Italy (the cafe on the ground floor of the Myer Centre that fronts onto North Terrrace) closes tomorrow. After five years I need to find somewhere else for my morning coffee :( The fit-out is a little outdated in there (although I secretly quite like that - it's like a little trip back to...

Further to all this, why are O-Bahn passengers crossing a busy bus lane, a garden bed, service delivery bays and a carpark to reach the back of a major shopping centre? Time for the TTP bus terminal to be integrated into the retail and entertainment district. It's embarrassingly third rate as it is...

Another theory:

It's been two years since Caffe Bongiorno closed down.
And still no activity going on since then.
