Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
Walking along North Terrace yesterday, past the old Club 199 and heritage buildings, am so sick of seeing this area neglected and dilapidated. While I've felt Luxury retail should be at Burnside, couldn't help but think a cluster of luxury brands in this location, continuing on from Tiffany & Co, c...

Community Support is what kept everything in Adelaide afloat. And now one has the god-damned nerve to pull off blasphemy like this: Windmill Educational Toys and Equipment to close Norwood branch unless someone buys it It’s game over for a toy store that has served Adelaide’s east for 35 years — unl...

With the new Foodland in full swing, small convenience stores in the city are now gradually becoming a thing of the past. Just recently, three stores; KBS Convenience (Currie St), City Convenience (Grenfell St) and KW Cornerstore (Cnr Waymouth St/King William St) have shut up shop. And there was not...

Subway on Rundle Street closes today after 20 years of trading, the lease was not renewed. St Louis Ice Cream and Desserts also seems to have closed on Rundle Street. All the tables were stacked in corner last night after walking past. Another Subway bites the bullet! It's literally going the way o...

Looks like the large unit at the station entrance ramp, previously used as one large second hand goods store, is now being turned into some smaller individual units. Anyone know anything? Only that Renewal SA has been seeking expressions of interest for retail operators to overall the Railways Stat...

Re: News & Discussion : New Restaurants, Bars & Night Clubs
Fantastic news! Restaurants have proven successful in similar buildings around the world and it's nice to have another pre show or pre game option. Most importantly, it's great to see some of the grandeur of the station concourse restored. Personally, I'd love to see the Marble Hall/waiting lobby r...
