FFS, this site is pretty much useless for what they should be building. I suspect the interest in the site is simply to lure people to and drive the ACC's Central Market Arcade... They should be looking to MSAC in Melbourne for ideas on how to pull everything together, as far as swimming centres go,...

Is there any need for Seaford to stop at Showgrounds, even at showtime? It's not much of a walk to the south entry from Goodwood. That was the whole point of building the Showground station. :wallbash: Nobody will want to walk 5-10 minutes from Goodwood when there’s a perfectly good station that wa...

If the Rundle Square management had any sense, they'd be trying to poach Boost Juice and Silk Laser from the burnt out building across the road, would very easily fill the remaining two tenancies.

Saw the bridge sections for myself while driving past. Is it just me or is the green that they've chosen hideous? I'm surprised they didn't just go with the same dark grey as the Darlington road bridges and actually chose to use colour. Colour is not a bad thing, burnt orange on the Flinders Link l...

The completed crane 6/10/20. It is very similar to the crane on the corner of North Tce & Frome St. Please click on picture for bigger. The crane gives you a little bit of an indication of how much the tower proper will be set back from the front of the heritage facade, looks as those the crane wil...

Tram to nowhere? What are you from The Advertiser or something? The recent tramline extension to the East End goes past the State Library , Art Gallery, the universities, Rundle Mall and Botanic Gardens. The proposed extension to Norwood is good too which was scrapped by Marshall and Co. Hur dur, y...

Re: [CAN] 10 Anzac Highway | Kaufland Supermarket
Most of what's held indoors at the showgrounds could be held at the convention centre and entertainment centre. The royal show it self could be held in any number of parklands that surround the city such as Victoria Park, no big loss. You have a really warped perspective of what is required to hold...

It was publicised at the time of development as a European style casino, rather than a Vegas americanised one. Yes the decor was an 80's version of a heritage conversion, but the intent was very definitely there to create that atmosphere, rather than the time of which it was built. Sky City destroy...
