Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
Apparently there has been a wait list of retailers looking to move into Rundle Place for quite some time now. I am not sure who they are, but I don't think it will be long before the void is either filled or the centre is reconfigured to allow for a mini-major to move in.

Am I jumping the gun or has the translucent roof been replaced by what looks like shade cloth?

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail
It has nothing to do with smaller population. There is and always has been a major shortage of large lettable tenancies in the Rundle Mall precinct, which means that mini-majors are forced to provide smaller format stores if they have any desire of opening in the CBD. When Zara opened at Burnside i...

https://www.commercialrealestate.com.au/property/145-grote-st-adelaide-sa-5000-2014938293 The site at 145 Grote St. is under contract. You'd imagine due to its prominent location to see something built there in the medium term. From what I understand it is very unlikely that any significant develop...

Looks like GHD have recycled their cladding design for Barwon Water HQ in Geelong. Boring shape aside, this could end up being quite the looker. https://www.realestate.com.au/blog/images/1600x1600-fit,progressive/2018/11/02170015/capi_89e584260084a1e5924b016de85b1537_d2c3f99e5bb238d026eba37e7c68cea1...

[COM] Re: 73-85 Pirie Street | 89m | 22 Levels | Office
That’s all well and good, but enforcing certain setbacks and plot ratio’s etc will still make a development more expensive for the same amount of lettable area. Not sure if it has been mentioned but I have it on very good authority that Kaufland will be taking space as part of this development. Given that there's already a Coles and Woolworths in Westfield next door, and a new Foodland will definitely be built on part of the stadium site, as well as a libr...
