[COM] Re: 73-85 Pirie Street | 89m | 22 Levels | Office

We say this a lot but really this is a prime spot for a much taller building as the latest render in context shows. I sometimes wonder if we were more strict on having setbacks whether that would influence taller /more interesting designs. Planning Commission: "You have to build a taller build...

Another conservative build. We say this a lot but really this is a prime spot for a much taller building as the latest render in context shows. I sometimes wonder if we were more strict on having setbacks whether that would influence taller/more interesting designs. At least the 80s/90s saw some mor...

As I hoped, this one is reminding me more and more of 101 Collins Street, Melbourne. You're right about that. lol how? These two buildings look nothing alike, and 101 Collins is 170m taller. Are you colour blind? The facade treatment and window tint looks exactly like 101 Collins. Nothing to do wit...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

I agree that it should not run through the terraces. Our CBD is spread and catchment would be far better using 'inner roads' which cross the squares.

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

Oh no to side platforms. This slows the trams even more. The current set up at city south allows a better flow for the trams through the lights. While red the boarding takes place, than on green the tram heads off. The issues with this set up is that a tram travelling north now stops at the lights,...

The individual courts are closed off for matches with temporary seating behind the ball barriers (not sure if they will be up for the new tournament, which would be unusual, but there will still be ball barriers around the court. So no, no one will be running to the other end of AO just as they didn...

Although I called this cheap and tacky yesterday, in light of today's news about us securing a major ATP tournament 12 months from now I can see why this is the only real viable option for updating the facility. The canopy does look rather large and hopefully can be re-purposed for a proper new indo...

Is the current sheltering and other station equipment going to be reused at another station? Seems like a waste that one of the only upgraded stations in the last decade is out of use when other stations are nothing more than concrete slabs and a bench.

What is the attraction of Soonta?
I'd suggest the only attraction is from people wanting to avoid the large queues at the far superior Miss Mai :D
