I saw them installing a laser projection thing pointed that way under the footbridge while I was back home earlier this month.
From memory, I think I spotted something on the Adelaide Festival Centre page about it, too?

Yep, joining the chorus - 6,000 is woefully inadequate.
If they’re serious about using this venue for basketball and/or as a concert venue, they should be looking at 10,000 as a starting point.

Absolutely. I’ve always loathed posters, art, whatever being stuck on the side of the building.SRW wrote: Also... am I the only one who hates the way posters are slapped on the roofline like that? You couldn’t imagine them doing that to the Opera House. It cheapens the building.

My understanding was that the ‘tunnel’ would pass under the casino extension?[Shuz] wrote:I'm a little confused. In the plans it mentions that the footbridge / walkway would become a tunnel through to the Railway Station. It looks to be ground level?

It's difficult to tell too much about the second and third options from the little pictures above but the first one with the bendy poles just looks plain awful. Don't often say it, but based on these pics it seems like the right call from ACC on this one. Agree, the first one is easily the worst. T...

I'm all for some sort of lighting feature along the Riverbank, but these ideas just look so DULL. Was in Adelaide for a few days - went to 2KW - VERY nice. Views are exceptional - back along NT and down KWS towards Nth Adelaide. I would not have known it was Adelaide except for the railway stn, parliament house and the playhouse. Impressed with 2KW as well. ADELAIDE - TOWARDS A GREATER CITY SKY...

Matt, I never meant to suggest your maths was wrong; it's clearly correct. I was simply making the point that statistics can be used to 'prove' anything, and in this case I think "89%" or "100%" is misleading with respect to the base 61.6% vs 38.4% result. I also never said this...

Mine certainly would. suicides are kept under wraps for a good reason, it's actually against media guidelines to report on them I thought it was more the details of the method itself that were a...

Re: Beer Garden
The fact it hasn't been picked up by the news confirms we should probably stop talking about it. 7 news briefly mentioned it. As sad as this is, it’s something of a relief that events like this are so rare that they do still make news. People are so immune to the regularity of people jumping ...
