Re: Concept: Multi-Purpose Stadium
I would love one like the Chivas stadium built in the Adelaide parklands with a roof that could be lifted and lowered depending on the weather. I think a movable roof would be a terrible waste of money! The roof should be extended far enough out to keep the fans dry, but I don't see any advantage i...

Re: Concept: Multi-Purpose Stadium
Whoa, that's an awesome looking stadium. The idea is sort of what I had for Adelaide, except the roofline should be level with the ground, and the actual stadium inground. This one is technically above-ground, and just has a hill around it to make it look like its inground. Looks to be partially in...

Re: Concept: Multi-Purpose Stadium
It's not a multi purpose stadium but it's pretty much inground. Chivas new stadium in mexico. [DEF] Re: AAMI Stadium to recieve a $100million facelift
I think Melbourne is building its new rectangular stadium for something like $125m. It'll seat 25,000 or so. That's pretty good value - a whole stadium - when you look at the AAMI Stadium facelift by comparison. melbourne is building a stadium with 31,000 capacity, i would imagine it's costing a fa...

Re: #Proposed : Port Adelaide Tram Line
Isn't it a little strange the tram line is going only to the Entertainment Centre? How patronised to we expect that to be? Or is it that that same line will be making it out to Semaphore and the Port - or are those suburbs going to be served by a tram/train hybrid? Hindmarsh stadium will be service...

Re: #Article: City Tower 'Would Draw' Tourists
Hi there, first post. Only recently found this site, lovin it so far. Great to have some way of knowing whats happening or not happening in SA. People say we need an "iconic" building an a 6 star hotel in adelaide, why not combine the two together. Build a Hotel with two towers, one each s...
