From purely a physical point of view, this area would be a great place for urban infill. Of course, that's ignoring the issues of the land being shit.
I really do wonder about the land around the connector sinking.
I'm feeling another monorail song-thread coming on here...

Most people are in favour of heavy vehicle tolling. This project is basically shovel ready. It's a critical infrastructure boost for SA. It provides hundreds of construction jobs during a time of high unemployment. It gives economic stimulus to the northern suburbs region. Basically its a win - win...

Apparently near Coles, is what I heard. I think that was mentioned in the TTP expansion thread, from memory.RustyCage wrote:Any idea where at Tea Tree Plaza the Modbury store would be?

Re: Television Broadcasting in Adelaide
We got a new one coming!
Channel 78 to become home to a free-to-air horse racing channel. No real surprises here, to be honest. It was discussed in depth for quite some time now.
Racing Live seems to be the name of it so far. It's set to launch on 29 August.
Additional info here.

Cool pics.
It's a little too narrow for me, but I like the architecture of it in the renders... Of course renders =/= final product, but still it looks good!

Wen past it 15 mins ago or so. It's pretty much now just the quarter pipe nearest to the Morphett St bridge that remains. Shitloads of workers along North Tce. It's awesome to see!

I always go to Rundle Mall for my shopping and entertainment. It's closer and its not a big soulness indoor shopping mall. Win-win.

[U/C] Re: ONH: Tea Tree Plaza Upgrade | $190m
How can Adelaide sustain two major redevelopments of its two biggest shopping malls, in a period of economic and job uncertainty? It doesn't add up. I guess being the only huge shopping districts around their respective areas helps a lot. Maybe the retail sector isn't as unstable as other markets? ...

Will the connection of Tea Tree Plus to Tea Tree Plaza vastly improve the amount of shoppers at Tea Tree Plus? I remember not that long ago when the Wendy's was up and running, with a Radio Rentals, Toys R Us, Rebel Sports and Harris Scarfe all in the centre. Now, it's pretty barren. Savers gets a f...

That's a pretty cool shot, Norman. Cheers for uploading it. Not long now until it dwarfs the Optus Building. I think that's a great thing for Adelaide's southern gateway. Now we just need something of similar height across the road from it and we're well on our way to an awesome looking boulevard fo...
