[COM] Re: 52-66 King William Street | 65m | 15 Levels | Southern Cross Arcade
Surely businesses like banks and telcos have embraced working from home and automation a lot more than government. CBA just capped HO at 50%. Takes balls for a company to do that but it's necessary. The balance went far in the wrong direction and it has made managing teams a nightmare where the emp...

SA isn't the only tenant of the building, right? People making it out like the developers didn't build big enough. Maybe up to the tenant to rent what they need...?

Why not build nothing? It costs nothing besides the annual costs of a weed whacker. Adelaide needs a new dirt car park since the le cornu site got developed. Makes sense to move South Australia's heritage closer to the heart of the city. Presumably the cheapest option by far would be to turn over t...

And if you really want to attract more foreign tourists, spend the money on attracting more international students.... you get not only the spending by the student itself (which is substantially higher than what 99% of tourists spend), you also get friends and family coming for tourist visits... Un...

Quite an expensive half-arsed at $18 million! For reference, the first (and to date only) stage of the Vic Square upgrade was $24 million. I actually think the North side is pretty nicely done. The problem is the majority of the street is occupied by a behemoth car park and vacant arcade as well as...

Claybro, if you're going to engage in ridiculous conspiracy theories, I suggest you take your comments elsewhere and peddle them on other web forums. But they are not welcome here. 15 minute cities are not a conspiracy theory. Just Google it. It is being spoken about and rolled out by town planners...

How is $600m a lot to spend? If anything $200m was nowhere near enough even as a projected price tag. No one would be saying the same if this were a contemporary gallery, which would cost the same (if not more)… In a state such as South Australia with a fairly small budget, how is $600m not a lot t...

Presume it’s just the office component? Considering almost all the apartments have been sold. CBRE is exclusively commercial real estate. Can say with confidence that they'd be waiting for a precommitment to the office component which is natural. What is it, 9 levels? wouldn't take much to find som...

My understanding is that the 2nd second building is at the design and planning stage with it being slated as 34-35 levels (similar floor plate). First 3 levels to essentially glass atrium type of design to allow for natural light requirements through to parliament house. If this goes ahead, I think...
