[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million
Looks like the whole area needs at least 100 more trees. With all that concrete and reflections off the windows from the new casino building etc, heat will be a massive issue. Some water features would have been really nice too. Added some tranquility to the area and to help link it to the river.

Has there any word on what will happen with the stores that used to be in the arcade? For example, will the newsagent be relocating or any space provided in the new design for some of the "old" businesses to return

Yeh ok its not going to be a Marion, but settle down mate Elizabeth and Noarlunga are holes as well. Their only saving grace is their distance from the closest Westfield and that they are in far flung outer suburbs. The problem is investment in the centre. When Vicinity (who own Chadstone) owned it...

[SWP] Re: Lot 14 (Old RAH Site)
I noticed that the old brick and iron fence that I believe dated back to the days of the original hospital has also been removed most likely about the time of when the street trees were cut down. Does anyone know if this fence will be reinstated?

Doesn't look too bad. Is the current hotel building staying and being incorporated into the design?

Just went into the GPO and asked when they are closing - end of next week I was told. If anyone wants photos of the inside, best go in now and take some. Just ask the staff first

[COM] Re: SkyCity Adelaide Casino Expansion | 55m | 12 Levels | Hotel
I've often thought that the original city plan for Adelaide turned its back on the river and we still have buildings and structures that basically separate us from the river. The ASER project did nothing to improve this situation either. Buildings cafes and other structures as mentioned to cover up ...
