UPDATES from me: 1. The former Rhodes & Beckett on Grenfell St outside the 'Black Stump' is becoming a new BOQ (Bank Of Queensland) branch after sitting vacant for a couple of years. 2. Lucky 7 on Bank St could not compete with Adelaide Convenience on North Tce and so it has closed down. 3. The ...

For those who haven't noticed, Liquorland has opened in Coles at Rundle Place as part of the supermarket's first refurbishment. Ideal spot for it with residents and office workers nearby having weekend drinks or office parties. Thanks for the update The Scooter Guy! I haven't been into Coles there ...

Liquorland has opened at Coles in Rundle Place as part of the supermarket's first refurbishment.
So I think the space where Mitchell's Adventure was is likely to become Liquorland too.
Here, I've documented the interior that's obviously stuck in the late 1990s.

The closure of the Twin Plaza Book Exchange in 2012, Pauline Books in 2019 and now Adelaide Booksellers marks the end of Twin Street's most ambitious era. (Adelaide Booksellers will continue to trade online to this very date)

Rents on Gawler Place are still very steep.
This past week, Uggs R Us suddenly shut up shop 'for unknown reasons'.
If Shin Tokyo does the same thing, I wouldn't be surprised.
Besides, their stock is too pricey anyway.

Rundle Lantern first started operation back in 2008. And it's too iconic to be removed.

Dymocks on Rundle Mall is going to be replaced with a multi-level Rebel Sport. Dymocks are looking for a new CBD location. Rundle Mall's biggest bookstore will close its doors at its current location for the last time on Friday, to be replaced with a new Rebel Sport “megastore”. The new sports stor...

EB Games and Camera House have been vacant for a year now. Read recently that City Cross and North Adelaide Village have been sold to two interstate retail firms so hopefully that means we see more from there two sites. North Adelaide Village actually has planning concessions for mixed use developm...

Anyone got on any tips on new tenants for City Cross? They've been doing seemingly substantial internal works in the tenancy next to the Rebel escalator.

If this plan also includes a major overhaul of TTP, then I see no issue with paid parking.

Redevelopment is LONG overdue.
Both Woolies & Big W have changed with today's times.
But why Coles is still looking out of date? I assume it is likely to be enlarged in a future time.
