[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway
Doing the maths on Google maps for trips; Pakenham to Corio 120km about 90min and Aldinga to Nuriootpa 120km about 90min. I was actually shocked that Geelong to Pakenham is only 120km. It's crazy how long Adelaide is 100km from Sellicks Beach to Hewett. Greater Melbourne stretches well over 100km f...

While I totally agree and your points about our roads etc are valid, you also need to consider that you are comparing us with a population 4x our size and with Govt [State and Federal] revenue and funding maybe 10x what we get. So if our state had say an extra $5 billion every year [as an example],...

It’s crazy to live in a CBD and expect building heights to be limited. It should be expected. Perhaps Mr Khabbaz Should move to North Adelaide where the ‘village charm’ is more his thing

[VIS] Re: New inner-city stadium
Ignore my extremely poor photoshop skills, but would love to see a covered football stadium west of the Morphett Street bridge. Tons of room for an open plaza facing Morphett Street bridge and possibly other smaller venues. Build cost over the railway lines likely to be pricey but worth a dream! Coo...

Next weekend (22nd Feb) Sturt Road will be closed for the installation of the rail bridge. Those in the area might want to divert via Daws Road or Marion Road.
I’ll try to get some pics but feel free if you get in first

[CAN] Re: Brighton Road Grade Separation
Preliminary works for this are well underway. Service locating, potholing and surveying have been underway for the past week or so. The scope seems to extend from Warradale station to Jetty Rd Brighton (and potentially further south) What's the likelihood of Jetty Rd being included in the grade sep...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams
There are many businesses on Port Road between Bowden and Woodville that will benefit from the tramline, close to SANFL ground in Woodville too. Totally agree Port Road businesses would benefit. Seems to me having parallel tram lines so close to one another would be overkill. Happy to stand correct...

Run it like this Tram all the way up Port Rd to Port Adelaide Convert Grange line to tram https://i.imgur.com/qJY2JnZ.png I agree with this but question the duplication of having a Port Road line to West Lakes Boulevard (WLB) whilst retaining the parallel Outer Habour corridor. Would it not be bett...

Noticed this morning the line from North Terrace to Festival Plaza tram stop is currently closed and undergoing maintenance/repair. Does anyone know what the nature of the work is?
