Re: Vision: Light Square Tower - 100f / 500m
adelaide might not have money coming out of their ears like dubai, yes you are correct, but how have other comparable cities like perth and brisbane have more robust skylines...? it all comes back to the box which too many people unfortunately live in. You make it sound like Perth and Brisbane are ...

Re: Glenelg Tram Line Upgrade
It's laughable for all of you in here to whinge about the people whinging about the tram because from what I've read, absolutley none of you deal with the tram on a daily basis to experience what everyone else has. The no right turns and the changes to light patterns and where you can and can't tur...

Re: Glenelg Tram Line Upgrade
It's funny how the trams are at fault, with no mention of the thousands of cars (with little more than one person on average occupying each vehicle) playing any part in the congestion. This is my favourite part: "If something had happened in there, like a fire or something, we would have had no...

Re: Centrals for AFL!!!
Since when is that particular area called Central District. Its outer northern Adelaide. Ive heard of the Adelaide Plains, but if you talking about say mid north (eg Burra/Crystal Brook/Clare), I would have thought the central area would be around Mallala/Barossa/Roseworthy, or even greater Adelaid...

Re: Centrals for AFL!!!
I will still never ever get over why a team proudly based in Elizabeth, outer northern Adelaide, are called Central District. Strange things happen in our world, and that name is one of them That's what the northern area is called, Central District. It encompasses a large area, much larger than jus...

Re: Grand Final - Port vs Geelong
Something I found funny.. According to the Advertiser and MCG staff, Port Adelaide wanted to train at the MCG on friday (tomorow) at 3pm after the Parade. But it seems the time slot has already been booked by Geelong.......... 6 weeks ago, after they sealled the minor premiership, with 3 rounds rem...

I might have believed you had you not used there/their incorrectly at least 5 times in your previous post.Cruise Control wrote:it was a typing error.
But anyway, I digress, as this topic isn't about spelling it is about the bagging of Port Adelaide. Continue.

Geelong by 150.
Stelaras is right too. Port Adelaide represent Port Adelaide (funnily enough). The city of Adelaide is represented only by the Adelaide Crows.

That's gold. what, sitting in a lane for 20 minutes going snails pace? You clearly don't drive in the city a...

Re: Sporting facility or Hospital???
I think what makes Adelaide oval so picturesque is because of its location and its surroundings, the stadium is just a few stands and a grass patch which looks no different to say glenelg oval, and unley oval, etc. However no dought if adelaide oval were to change it would look shit. Because the gr...

Re: Sporting facility or Hospital???
at least the worlds most beautiful oval will ACTUALLY get some usage and some exposure. But it will no longer be the world's most beautiful test cricket oval, will it? Have you ever been turned away from an international match at Adelaide Oval because it was full? I haven't, and I've been to a few ...
