Hopefully things get moving here soon, this is a prime site with a free tram service, great bus connections and sprawling parklands just across the road.

Hearing chatter that the Sentinel development, the build-to-rent project on the lot bounded by Third St, Gibson St, Second St and Station Place, will significantly underdeliver on promised retail space. Despite having a requirement under the urban design guidelines, I've heard there'll only be a sm...

Re: [COM] Re: Adelaide Airport $1B Expansion (2028)
I can't find the words "train" or "tram" anywhere in these articles. Must be a mistake! Same, which irritates me. This responsibility is also on the State Government, which is starting to fail in the public transport space. I have a feeling the lack of train connection to the ai...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
In contrast to the well received suggestions of demolishing stations for the purpose of amalgamating them, I was wondering if there would be enough demand for a new station immediately north of the Onkaprainga River bridge on the Seaford line. There seems to be a modest number of houses nearby, and...

Re: News & Discussion: Roads & Traffic
So does that mean the NS Motorway is now costing an additional $2.7bn? If that's the case, one wonders if $18bn is really worth the cost. Originally slated at $9bn, then $12.5bn, then $15bn... it's becoming farcical. I believe the cost blew out from $10b to $15b after the last review and expansion....

Looks like Singapore Airlines is making those three extra weekly flights permanent from October 2024.

When is the realignment of Raglan Avenue scheduled to be built? It feels like they really should’ve pushed this forward, culling one set of lights in Edwardstown will be welcomed with open arms. I had a look on Google Earth history view and it looks like the buildings to the north of the east end o...

It's a hugely ambitious development in an area that doesn't offer a lot except the nearby schools. It also doesn't really fit in to the local area of very much low rise buildings. I wish them all the best though and hope to see it go ahead.

[U/C] Re: Ovingham Level Crossing Removal | $231m
Elder Smith Rd bridge was clearly designed to be upgraded to 4 lanes. The earthworks are already 4 lanes wide. So why was it built as a one lane road? Earthworks are just soil, unless they're actually serving their intended purpose. The same reason the Southern Expressway was built only one-way... ...
