I'd say it's all part of the asbestos removal. I'd also expect some temporary tent/cover structures to be set up too.

I'd suggest it is a contractor handover. I wouldn't be too worried.

I'd say you're correct. The first shot looks like a core pad, the second could be the beginning of a stairwell/service core. Time will tell!

The jump form for the core was being removed yesterday, it's all topped out. The facade on this is looking fantastic, especially when viewed from Vic Square.
