Very much like Australia, it is sometimes over-regulated however it is so much cleaner and tourism plays a very important part of this country.

Don't know how you feel about being a country over-governance, but certainly feel that connection in Singapore. They also love sky-scrappers within a very centralised location (CBD), loved their river front and many more.

Think Melbourne CBD as a city on its own and Singapore pretty much covers it.
