Shuz wrote:21 cranes has to be a record. I can't remember Melbourne with 21 cranes, let alone Adelaide having 21 cranes in mid-July. And what scares me more is that we have 6 months ahead of us for any new projects announced in that timeframe to join the list. Certainly a very exciting and promising time for Adelaide. :D
Melbourne would have more cranes than Adelaide, but that aside, the fact that alot of these Adelaide developments are big jobs that are likely to have more than 1 tower crane paints an even rosier picture.

Thanks. I kept it to above 10 levels, and added SA Water... because I can! http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?p=17578366

What about Port Adelaide?

Interesting list, however I doubt some of those buildings listed will actually begin construction. For example, it is very unlikely 102-120 Wakefield Street, 42-56 Franklin Street and CCT4 will begin before July.

I think your reffering to "Altitude" which is one of the 5 towers at the precinct develpment. (Balfours).

Not cheap Altitude... some of the apartments are going around $900k+.. and that's not even top level.

Hope you guys like the collage :D

thanks Ben...

I will look at those development threads for the blafours site....My wife and i are looking at investing in Adelaide seeing it is projected to be growing in value by up to 25% for the next 3-4 years at least.

Yes, I agree, it would have to be one of the best (unless of course we add more...). :D

One building which will add a crane to the skyline in the first half of the year, and is not listed in the list is the new Engineering Building which is already U/C at Adelaide University.

Also, I changed the Adel Uni building to U/C (Thanks Will) and 100 Grote to cancelled.

Hey Adam, I was having a look at your list, and there is a small mistake that i would like to clarify. You have the height listed for Altitude at 50m, however I have an understanding that it will be 58m. 8)

Cheers Will. As I've said, I really appreciate these corrections. With the huge amount of data on this forum, I'm sure I've stuffed dozens of little bits up.
