Thanks for the update jk1237. The site sure is large and they are not mucking around. Can't wait to see this one going up. Will really change Adelaide's skyline.

I am guessing a large part of this underground section will be parking. Maybe the sloped retaining walls are designed to aid ventilation of the car park??? Not sure though just a guess.

My guess is that we'll see a core mounted crane for this tower, and I doubt we'll see a crane here until early next year too.

Hi All, Long time lurker of the site here, thought I'd finally register. I live and work in the city so typically get to see a lot of the developments on a daily basis.

Anyway, happened to walk past this site this morning... and the crane base sections were being delivered. The sections were black, if that helps! So, I guess the crane will go up in the coming weeks.

My guess its a crane from the Southern Cross 2 tower in Melbourne.

It's a big mother.

They have started erecting the first 3 section of the base and from the size of the frameowrk will be quite a large crane. I am thinking Favco but who knows.

Really busy site now and it will be great to get some new building height west of the cbd

Looking at yesterday's pic, you can't see a crane base anywhere? Unless it's in the core formwork?
