Fitout on the old Red Door bakery (Grenfell), rumoured within these hallowed walls to be the new spot for Sushi Train, has commenced.

I can tell you the 2 interested parties for Citi-centre were Woolworths and Foodland...who does the forum prefer?

It seems more likely to be Woolies moving from their current location. But I'd like a Foodland here. The duopoly are a bit poop.
Exit on the right in the direction of travel.

There was talk of an international clothing retailer looking to take up Woolies' spot in the mall, so...
This “talk” was just a word on the street type thing rather than based on any inside knowledge, so I may as well pass it on. It was Zara.

Yep reopened. Looks very nice.

The upper tenancy has now been all boarded up and majority of the stores on that floor have been vacated, except for JB Hifi and Rebel. *watch this space*

Apologies I must have been drunk when I posted this. But I agree, it's a quality space.

That's a bit worrying - RMP isn't too big for them...

With Telstra moving into 49 Rundle Mall, presumably consolidating their City X and Citi Centre Arcade stores into a two storey space (probably like Bourke Street in Melbourne), and Citi Centre likely to see a massive upgrade therefore making the vacancy only a small loss. What happens to the vacate space in City X? Prime realestate, however has there been any news of the sale of City X and whether this will spell a massive upgrade for the centre?

I wonder if the recent development of 200 North Terrace might have anything to do with a potential move by Woolworths, both in terms of site access for their loading dock but also the potential to connect the development with their site for a grander development... Just a thought...

Following on from the discussion regarding 200 North Terrace. I thought I'd post this here, considering the discussion is more aligned with the possible tenants rather than the actual development.

As posted by Ben the 3-level tenancy gives strong indication of a major retail store (potentially H&M) within this development, which would open up the prospect of Gawler Place gaining two major retail brands. Though what's even more exciting is what is planned for the old Gallerie building. In total 1,461sqm of retail space over 4 levels. Perhaps Louis Vuitton?

All up, it's one of the most exciting developments we have seen in years.
