That point x cube design is pretty cool but I can image it would get quite hairy during a windy day. I reckon that canopy is good too but I just don't see how this is going to happen with $1.6m. The council spent $1m from memory just hiring consultants for the North Tce upgrade without even laying a brick... unless that buy some led fairy lights from Bunnings and throw them between HJs and UniHouse. :D

Please, send your comments to the council. Otherwise we might get stuck with that flower canopy because all the hippies will vote for it!

Why not propose to have the two concepts joint together, that would be awesome and insane, but, yeah, Point X is pretty much pointless and quite unachievable (I could be wrong), so I think I better stick to the convergence, seems far more convincing and way better than the rest.

Edgar: They're working to a budget.

Howie: They're -all- called convergence. Also, It's kinda freaky that we both looked at the same book on the same day. Did you stalk me?

Thinking about it, since these are going to be run by the ACC, what exactly are they going to put on the screens? When it was originally proposed I was under the impression it was to be commercial billboards (like Times Square...). Knowing the ACC it'd be 24 hour Postcards re-runs. :|

Good!, i hope it sends them back out to the suburbs, and out of the main central business district.

Emotional Punk Rock. It's followers are known for tartan trousers and wrist slitting. There are lots of jokes are like "I wish my grass was emo so it'd cut itself"

well, in HJ's and Rundle's case, theyre all the try hard teenagers dressed in black and red who always hang around in big groups...

self harm and suicide really isnt something to joke about. all the people you see round town dress and act that way because they think its "cool"

i think its rather sad the way some people get treated because of this stereotype. oh well, what you gonna do?

That is just the concept, the ones you call 'imagination'

It won't actually happen, and I cannot think of a proper way to hang them unless they can find a super light materials for the screen and it's structure (perhaps air space materials) so that then can hang the cube off metal strings attached to 4 sides of buildings, which in this case is even more impossible :D
