[U/C] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million
Does anyone know if the plan for Station Rd is for only/mainly pedestrians only? The renders only show pedestrians and alfresco dining on a tree-lined street. Just thinking about taxis, hotel check-ins/outs and hotel/restaurant deliveries if there is going to be a road going under it for access and the increased traffic flows?

That's not a problem with the trees, that's a silly protectionist.

Surely whoever set up this light display had a sense of self criticism and would have thought "No, this is not a good look"

Yet another reason why they should stop treating the festival shells as a billboard.

I don’t mind them being used for projections. As long as its only artwork, mood lighting, festive (Xmas, NYE, etc.) or state tourism/events (i.e. Fringe, CabFest, etc.). Leave private advertising (and Alan Jones) far away.

Has anything changed here? Kinda expected we'd be at the point of a massive concrete pour by now.
The cynic in me suspects a go-slow while Walker Corp makes moves behind the scene to get its extra tower.

Looking at that shot there is an extra core pit towards the left hand side of the shot, presumably for the carpark, looks too small for a second tower.

I thought that could be for a second tower crane base.
