Now all that needs to happen is we need to pick it up and plonk it on Synagogue Place... THIS is what should be hanging around the artsy Rundle Street.

I like it, but what's up with the western side windows? Looks like the only thing those shades block out is the northern sun?

No my dear you are high. The river bank currently looks like a tacky circus with all the different colours and this will lookno different.
Not to mention the design is plain as dry toast and the west wall is yet another disaster.

Each to their own ... design is a very subjective thing. I love this design, the colour adds to the streetscape.

I also love what's happening at the riverbank lighting. Massive improvement on what was there previously.

I agree about the western wall. The rest? Let's wait until a proper rendering is available.

I think Adelaide definitely needs a bit of colour in the skyline, we have too much brown and beige as it stands.
The rainbow is eyecatching, but it stops at about level 5, not on the skyline. The rest of the tower seems plain colours and looks like it's still under construction waiting for the hanging walls to be installed.

This site is up for sale w/ the approval for the mixed used building on realcommercial. For those not in the know, this doesn't necessarily mean its dead, however what it does mean is the current owners were just looking to boost land value by obtaining an approval (which is quite a common exercise).

https://www.realcommercial.com.au/prope ... -502902930

It's a well positioned site for residential development so hopefully someone whose serious about developing the site acquires it.

And gives us a much better design because this is rubbish.
