Totally out of scale with the area. It's on a totally different block to Westpac.
Just because it isn’t thicc doesn’t meant it’s out of scale. It’s space is relative to infinity in Brisbane which is 240m.
Westpac is one thicc boi anyway.
I think Algernon is being sarcastic.
So potentially another new tallest? Whew, Adelaide is picking up steam even if it's a metre at a time. I'm looking forward to the shots of the changed skyline.
Good to finally have some information on this one. The coffee shop that was there closed at least 6 months ago due to the "redevelopment", but I could never find any further information.
I don’t understand when things close we’ll before anything has even been approved. Does this mean it’s certain to at least past approval stage? That people are really committed to this project?
Possibly a stupid question but if anyone cares to endulge, be my guest.

The previous tenants would have been from the previous owner. The site was sold last year if I recall correctly, so the new owners would have given ample notice to vacate. This would be the new owner getting their ducks in a row for the new development
I love the architects and what they have done with Baju Henley (and hopefully with One Adelaide). The inclusion of various textures and materials is an element to their designs that really pushes ahead of what we've seen proposed lately.
For a serious proposal, am I overly worried that the photo of Adelaide CBD used as the render is so many years old?
Haha I thought I made it obvious... maybe my photo shopping skills are better than i give myself credit for.
I admit, I thought this was the render for a good 5 minutes. But it's fair to say that I have a certain level of excitement and confidence for this proposal simply because of confidence in the developer. The specific area of this development will make Adelaide look a lot taller.
