There are plans for a big OTR at Tailem Bend as part of the massive $40m re-development of the motorsport park they bought [former Mitsubishi test track]. On Dukes and Mallee highways, close to the Princes Highway.

That a Woolworths Petrol going in next to Bunnings in Mt Barker, should be open by Christmas. The OTR in that area is proposed for a vacant lot in Nairne

Well the On The Run is open now, at Littlehampton at what used to be Baldy's. The Littlehampton Post Office is still operating in the building too.

Woolworths Petrol have opened next to Bunnings. I was lead to believe that Spud's servo at Littlehampton would be closing when the Woolworths one opened, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Work has started in the last week, on the Bald Hills Road freeway interchange.
cheers,
Rhino

There's also another servo being built in mt barker as well, an AM/PM is being built next to the steam ranger yards near the homemaker center. Should be open in a month or so. There's 6 servo's in Mt Barker now along with the 2 in little hampton.

Is there any thing happening on site? Does any live in this area or pass by who take a picture or 2?

I went down there about a month ago, and they had started forming the roundabouts, and had set up the alignment for the exits. No work on the ramps themselves yet, although that's most likely not the case anymore.
Looking forward to a free-flowing Adelaide!

Here's what it looked like on the 29th of October, according to Google Earth

Night works are now happening at the Old Princes Highway / Bald Hills Road intersection. Bald Hills Road is closed at night to all traffic except residents. The south-western corner of the roundabout seems to have been built/positioned.
Last night the western carriageway of the roundabout was sealed, and this morning all Bald Hills Road traffic was using it, while the eastern side of the roundabout gets built. After that, I suspect all traffic on Old Princes Highway will be diverted to the southern carriageway of the roundabout, while the northern half of it gets built, and the road re-aligned around it.
cheers,
Rhino

Also, the roundabout at Bald Hills Rd / northern freeway ramps has been positioned, and the new road re-alignment is visible, but not built yet. Culverts for the southern ramps are in position, and drainage out in, but no roundabout yet.
cheers,

Bitchumen was starting to be laid today on the northern interchange.

The works for the roundabout at Mt Barker Road are also underway.
Looking forward to a free-flowing Adelaide!

The new Bald Hills Road alignment and roundabout for the northern exit/entry are being used now, although the entry and exit ramps are not.

The roundabout at the intersection of Bald Hills Road and Old Princes Highway is finally being constructed (as opposed to "site works commenced"), causing the drive from Nairne to Mount Barker to take upwards of 20 minutes due to the amount of traffic from 3 directions trying to use a single lane. The lollipop boys are out there, which is marginally better than temporary traffic lights - at least we aren't forced to stop and wait while no traffic goes through.

I'm not complaining though - it's going to be good when it's complete, and save quite a bit of time.
cheers,
Rhino

Drove past today, looks like they were doing the finishing touches (bolting on the signs, etc) looks like it could be open by the end of the week.
