So the east tops out at level 12. It doesn't look like this core will service level 13.
By the way did anyone see the render in yesterday's 'tiser?? I'll post it tomorrow, it's the newer updated render, and it looks awesome!

The floor plates have been rejiggied on the north west and north east sides, to make the indented thingies.

Yeah they have Chris. Can also see from today that the level 6 floorplates don't extend all the way to the eastern side, maybe that is the start of the glass atrium that is meant to be positioned on the eastern side of the tower. That would mean even less time for floorplate construction and pouring but it is already progressing at a fast rate.

I definately agree that the loss of the glass blades is a shame as they were an excellent addition to the tower, something different for Adelaide. Not to worry though still an "A Class" tower by the looks. Can't wait until we start to see some glass facade being attached. When would that occur I wonder? Maybe once the floorplates are above level 10 or so? There looks to be a shade-type feature planned on the Waymouth facade. Hopefully this isn't an ugly addition as can sometimes be the case with such features. Really enjoying watching this one progress along on the webcam.

Unfortunately the webcam appears to have died. Hasn't updated since mid-arvo yesterday for me anyways. Typical bloody advertiser, cut it off when their building is finished (after all the cam is only for the new advertiser building and not CC1.)

Great photos Pikey and Pants!

I am confused as to why the developer changed the apperance of the tower. I really liked the old proposal, with its futuristic blades and blue coloured glass. The new design is bland, it has nothing adventurous about it. The colour and design remind me of the MLC building of 1957.
