Besides Kodo all the other recent 100m+ towers proposed for the city now are great looking buildings.

This is the sort of architecture required for the festival plaza office tower. Whilst this is apartments and differs in design to an office tower, something like this with subtle curves and unique cladding would make enough of a statement.

Imagine the new cluster in this area if this, Frome Central and the new Adelaide Uni building all go up

Hello all, new to the forum (but have lurked for while). This is a game changer, reminds me of Vue in regards to its sleek glass design and lack of blank walls. Will go along way to shaking the stigma that outsiders have. My only concern (apart from it not being built at all) is that like Vue, the design and materials used is dumbed down. The gold looks great in the render but in reality could result in a tacky casino vibe. Time will tell I guess, looking forward to more information. Also I dont believe the revised plan has been given approval, but feel free to correct me if im wrong.

Yeah well said. I wonder what the gold material is? Renders are usually done with internal lighting and rendered on dusk or dawn to give that glow to the building, which is when they look their best. Vue and others look at their best on sunset

Does anybody have a mock up what the skyline would look like with all these 100m+ buildings? I like how Adelaide's skyline is centered around Westpac. With Vue up now, with others to come, the height of the buildings will be more spread out. It'd be interesting to see what this will look like.
