10s - Duplication of Southern Express Way, Mclaren Vale Overpass, Darlington, Tonsley, Electrification and extension of Noarlunga train to Seaford, Building boom over last 5 years. It's been pretty busy tbh this last decade.

In terms of difference in the CBD, a tie between the 70's and 80's.
In terms of impact to the suburbs, definitely the last 10.

nothing compares to the 1920's and the rehabilitation of our railway lines through William Webb and the SAR

Re: Which was Adelaides most significant decade for Infrastructure development
Unless you're talking purely about height, the 2010s saw more 40m+ highrises completed than any other decade. Numbers are something like this (including buildings outside the CBD, but the majority of highrises are in the CBD):
2010s: 36, 35 if you don't count August Towers as complete
2000s: 18
1990s: 12 (and none from 1994 to 1998 - ouch)
1980s: 26
1970s: 22
1960s: 21
pre 1960s: 13
2020s: 14 so far under construction/completed.

In terms of skyline impact sure, but in terms of how people use the city things like Rundle Mall are much more impactfulslenderman wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 7:58 pmUnless you're talking purely about height, the 2010s saw more 40m+ highrises completed than any other decade.
