Would be especially useful for Carols by Candlelight and other events in Elder Park who could potentially use the plaza as an overflow.

Agree with that. Might sound a bit like sacrilege, but mounting a video screen on the Festival Theatre where that big “Adelaide Festival” banner is would work well.

Took the kids here yesterday - what's opened so far is fantastic (the misting water feature is brilliant) and I think when the whole plaza and tower are finished this will be a fantastic addition to the city. It's a big thumbs up from me.

I reckon two banner style LED screens showing upcoming events at both Festival Theatre and Dunstan Playhouse would be quite a nice addition to both buildings.

Meanwhile I wish they'd remove all advertising from the Festival Centre shells, especially as there's billboards (river and road) adjacent anyway. I find the decals too busy and cheap for what's supposed to be a premier venue.

quite a few people enjoying the new open area with music and bars etc. Pretty nice public space - a big improvement

A massively improved space, with even greater potential.

It does need some more 'permanent fixtures' such as a video screen for sporting events and maybe some more shade/shelter (but this will come).
