What's your source for that? Seems unlikely they'd be ready to start construction other than that consent.VinyTapestry849 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 12:52 pmBut just a little update for you guys, at this time the project is waiting on building consent to start construction and demolition of the current office on the site.

Exactly. Theres still no sales release for the apartments and has a hotel provider been selected? Doesn’t seem like it. This one is surely a decent while off construction.Nort wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 12:59 pmWhat's your source for that? thanks for the update Viny. Hopefully it gets up soon. I can't wait any longer!VinyTapestry849 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 12:52 pmSo apparently, in a new report of the sites suitability and physical stability, ground works etc.
Its been revealed that there is in fact a little subterranean river /and or aquifer underneath the site
This river has quote "prevented subterranean development" hence have to have the car park above ground
If the river wasn't there they could have put the car park under ground and couple more hotel rooms or maximized space I guess, improved the economic return of the development but it is what it is
But just a little update for you guys, at this time the project is waiting on building consent to start construction and demolition of the current office on the site.

Overheard it from the guys behind the desk in their officeNort wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 12:59 pmWhat's your source for that? Walked in while omw home and asked if it was happening soon, said they couldn't tell me of course (no surprise there)
But what looked like an engineer was going off at an employee over something behind the desks and mentioned the aquifer, so I just sat down for a minute and listened lmao.
Bro was spilling the beans on everything for a solid 5 minutes, got the quotes I used in the previous message from him reading off his phone.
Theres your source

Remember that not everything has to be publicly announced, they could have already chosen someone.gnrc_louis wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 1:02 pmExactly. Adelaide is the best location in Australia to shoot a drama set in the 60s

I believe you Viny. Absolutely nothing wrong with sitting in the office and listening in on the conversations... Apart from the potential breaches in confidentiality and the trespass notice that can be received when you're not welcome... It's amazing that the argument that they had happened before your eyes.
Next time, maybe our next S-A catch up could involve sitting in the SA1 head office and watching what happens? Hopefully something interesting. I can bring a goon sack if needed.

There's zero chance of a development like this with hotel and residential components not including a carparkChillyPhilly wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 11:47 pmInteresting.
