Would look great with a large tree in that large glassed area... oh wait. Those sections with wavy glass roofs are giving me Chadstone vibes

Still think the 'dumbing' down of the centre upgrade to exclude a cinema was a bad decision. I know the cinema landscape is shifting with technology and COVID-19, Burnside is just enough out of the way for Wallis Cinemas Mitcham, Hoyts Norwood and Palace Nova East End to have its own regular clientele. Doesn't have to be a massive multiplex (which wasn't the plan anyway) but a boutique cinema complex on the upper floors would have been great and given more impetus for night-time trading at the centre.

Better to have that trade drawn to a high street like The Parade.
