There's been lights on in some apartments on various nights recently, and it really adds a sense of 'life' to the Mall after-hours.

I've been waiting my whole life for these new building to come through.

Nope actually I meant much broader and beefier than a few years ago. In the past <5 years there have been a lot of new developments in the east, west and south of the CBD, areas that were dominated almost entirely by low rise just a few short years ago. 35 years ago the core highrise area was a hell of a lot smaller again

I think these shots might illustrate your point, just about everything both west of the core and south of Hindley that's over midrise is very recent, not to mention the biomedical precinct

I went past the building this morning about 9:30 and have notice the red frame that was around the crane tower about 1/2 way up is now up at the top of the tower

Thanks for that, so is my thinking correct, they might not have finished putting everything together up there but there is nothing else to go up? or if it can they send it up in the elevators?

I would imagine you will see a lot more activity now? they will start, I'm guessing, to complete all the ground floor stuff - arcade, foyer etc
