Not sure what is happening with this building. The arcade stuff does not seem to be moving, not much has happened there in the last 3 or so weeks. Also looking through the front doors and the uphostery seems to be missing from the rear of the chairs in the Foyer and have been for the last 3 or 4 weeks.

It might be a while before people start moving in here.normh wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 8:52 amNot sure what is happening with this building. Some parties involved would probably be losing a fair bit of money at the moment, others (lawyers mostly..) would probably be making a fair bit...

Good pickup Ben, still strange, literally nothing happening on the site for a long time, went past there yesterday and still don't see/hear anything going on in the arcade/foyer. I was also looking at the lights on the top a band of green/white/red that is stationary. Shame really an opportunity missed given the building looks so good.

Large mobile crane on site today and glass roof being installed in the arcade on the east side of the building. Apologies for the pic being rotated.

Has anyone heard why no one has moved into this building? It was finished many months ago. Something smells fishy.

Without going into specifics, titles for apartments haven't been issued yet. Without titles, you don't own the apartment which means you can't move in.
I'm unsure how things are progressing and what time frame people are looking at before they can move in.
As I said in my post a few weeks back, the lawyers are making a lot of money....

What has actually caused this to play out like this?SouthAussie94 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 9:21 pmWithout going into specifics, titles for apartments haven't been issued yet. Without titles, you don't own the apartment which means you can't move in.

Waiting for the Title Office for the titles. It was expected to get the titles in early April but only got them on 2nd July.

Absolutely nothing to do with the privatisation of the LTO.
