What are these welfare benefits that need to be paid to people earning over the Average wage? The only exception I could foresee are resources to cope with a disability or accident (equipment rehab) to get you back to work or to or retain work. And that is what the NDIS is for.

I get screwed on tax, I'm happy to get some back.

I'll keep taking it as long as its there, when its gone, I'll do my hardest to avoid tax.

Dog most of your "policies" seem to be based on misunderstandings about reality. You might want to do some research on all those claims you made. At least turn off the talkback radio.

Some wise words from Waewick. As a fellow screwed over tax payer I'm all for a simple, user pays system with a simple safety net set at a level that our society deems appropriate. I'd even be happy to lift the GST rate if they truly simplified the tax system.

Basic market economy can work - an even playing field where those who make more, spend more, and more taxes are received that off-set the safety net. As it stands, those with enough finances spend them getting tax avoidance advice and end up skewing the system through the loop holes.

That's the stupidest policy. Way to encourage people to pay in cash only and avoid the tax system altogether.
