Hi All,

I currently reside in sydney (origionally from adelaide) and bought one of the one bedrooms last year at christmas time. It's pleasing to see that almost 70% of the apartments are sold. From my understanding, the development needs to commence by middle of this year otherwise the developer will incur fines (have to pay owners the $8.5k instead of the govt).

Also, I have been reading a bit about the Vue development, it looks flash and will be interested to see how pre sales go. I noted in the contract for new mayfield that the pool deck will only be built in stage 3 and that the developer has the option to sell out to another developer at any stage. Also the street landscaping ($6m) is alo conditional of the third stage going ahead.

Can anyone else share any light on this?

More than 70% of the apartments are now sold or on hold. Hopefully this means construction will commence soon.

I was in the sales office a few days ago, as I normally do every 4 weeks or so. I was informed that all people
that have purchased an apartment will receive official correspondence very soon as to the commencement
date of this project.

Also, due to the steady demand for the first building, sales for the 2nd stage will begin in the next 6-8 months.
I think this is a smart move, as i'm sure interest will increase once people actually see a crane on site.

Stickers around the shop front saying construction starting in October, so sounds like it will go ahead.

Noticed some sort of large crane around the vicinity of this site today from the tram. Not sure if it was this particular development but my fingers are crossed!

If it's the large mobile crane on Sturt St. you're talking about, I'm 99% sure that it's for the Ergo development across the road. Has been there a while.

Ergo is moving along nicely, and looks to be quite a large project.

Not sure if there's movement afoot here or not but the part of the site facing Gilbert St now has fence banners up 'advertising' asbestos removal.
