So far so good! It's hard not to imagine how much better Vue would look had it been clad in a similar black to this one.

There seems to be a lot more white involved in the renders. The black (or charcoal grey) may not be a bad thing though, makes it look bulkier and not as "chopped up"crawf wrote:This is looking exactly like the renders
Also makes quite an impression coming in to the city along Port Road and I add my vote that the colour scheme is actually working surprisingly well from what is visible so far. It's really quite different to anything else in the city with maybe the exception of one of the Zen buildings on Flinders but that's much smaller/less prominent.crawf wrote:Sleek design and a boast to the main city entrance from the airport. I look forward to more development along Grote Street.
You think? I drove past and thought the opposite. I didn't particularly like the renders, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw how it is looking so far. Certainly seems like it is going to be a much nicer looking building that Vision.crawf wrote:This is looking exactly like the renders

Do you mean in the lower levels? If so the glass hasn't been installed yet and that is just wooden barriers.rev wrote:A lot of the white that you see in that render is reflection on the balcony glass. Judging by some angles on pictures posted, it looks like the balcony glass is a different colour/shade to the other glass.
Nah I mean the upper levels(I can see clearly the wood this time unlike the Adel. Uni medical buildingBen wrote:Do you mean in the lower levels? It's a nice building.phenom wrote:The more I see of it the more I like it... and it's just as well given how prominent this one is - in terms of not having much close to it of any height, the general bulkiness of it and that it is visible from many approaches to the city.
It is much redder in real life. Looks good.EBG wrote: I think the cladding is redder in real life than in the pictures.
