Sun Herald on my search?
Are you not understanding what we're saying? News Limited re-use stories from a variety of sources across their verticals. Tim Williams is an SA journo who writes for the SA arms of News Limited. It wasn't written by a Victorian for a Victorian audience. It was written by someone in Adelaide and then re-used by the interstate onlines.
Thank you.

First time to the oval last night . Brilliant atmosphere , you couldn't pick a fault . No wonder Bars and restaurants in the city and North Adelaide are now investing in upgrading and or expanding after seeing the aftermath of last night game .

If they can at Etihad, I see no reason why they can't here.

With proper marketing, it would not be unreasonable to expect at least a 30k crowd. Throw on free PT and that'll rise even more. Marketing is key, though.

Somewhat off-topic, but for all those who wanted a dome at AO, the soon to be opened Singapore Sports Hub is what it could have been (for twice the price, of course!)

http://media.straitstimes.com/sportshub/sportshub.html

Note it includes an oval configuration for cricket/AFL as well as the square pitch sports. Designed by Arup, same guys who did the Birds Nest in Beijing.

announced today that CA has stripped AO of a fixture on Aus Day this year. SCG now gets their typical NYD test and also the Aus day one dayer.

One glaring design fault i have picked up is the pedestrian thoroughfare under the eastern stand is far too narrow and bottlenecks occur which could be a major issue during an emergency . Just my observation anyway .
