I'm not sure about Prada.
I've heard LV, Gucci and Celine are locked in, I guess we'll know100% once they're announced.

I’ll b interested to see if Adelaide can sustain a few luxury brands. Some will work, some may not. Very exciting few months!

I've heard that Paspaley Pearls and Watches of Switzerland are both aiming to open their first South Australian stores at Burnside Village in December.

That is great to hear, that will bring our number of Rolex stores in South Australia to 3.

Some quick snaps of the front (Portrush road facing) section from tonight 28/01. They've started adding the lighting features. Looks good!
And a couple peeking inside over the fence.
This is looking far better than I expected. Can’t wait to see it when it’s done. Finally a proper luxury precinct for South Australians. Let’s hope they can stay here permanently. It’s in the best suburb we can ask for.

Went past today and honestly? The amount of concrete slab walls (whether there are LED screens to be added or not) is horrible. Could they not have had windows for the ground level tenancies facing out onto the of Greenhill/Portrush Road(s)?

It reminds me of the ice wall from Game of Thrones
I'm guessing there were concerns about traffic accidents where vehicles could go through the glass?
But yeah I agree, that corner looks a tad... brutalistic.

They will have openings in them. Waiting for the tenants to design their facades to attach to the precast.

You can't just slot openings into pre-cast? It's a hard slab, dude. Plus, the tenants would have already designed their storefronts as construction got underway.

It’s been designed so that the panels are supported off the slab independently for this exact purpose. Any panel can be demolished without impact of the others.
And yes waiting for tenants for the facade.

For god sake guys, how many times does it need to be said that this concrete slab is not the final product. It will be covered with lights and LED screens.
