Every city looks grey in the distance especially on a grey dayMpol03 wrote:Poking out over Bohem appartments when viewing from Harbour Town. Two bleak grey blocks making our already beige skyline look... beige.
Sigh
Sorry but today was quite clear. Other colours in the skyline were clearly visible. However the beige finish of Bohem and the grey very present blank wall looked very drab, by comparison.citywatcher wrote: ↑Sun Jul 08, 2018 5:46 pmEvery city looks grey in the distance especially on a grey dayMpol03 wrote:Poking out over Bohem appartments when viewing from Harbour Town. Why move away when I can expect more from my city? I’m a proud Adelaidian that wants to see a striking, inspired skyline. Just because we have not had much in the way of change does not mean we should not expect a development to make a positive impact on our skyline.citywatcher wrote: ↑Sun Jul 08, 2018 9:02 pmThen move a little further awayMpol03 wrote:Sorry but today was quite clear. No I meant move further away from the city to view it from that perspectiveMpol03 wrote:Why move away when I can expect more from my city? Sorry, but your response was quite juvenile.
Lol any further and I’ll be at West Beach. My point is that compared to other visiting within the skyline, the big blank wall is already drab and prominent. Had the western wall had some type of facade it really could have positively impacted the western skyline.citywatcher wrote: ↑Sun Jul 08, 2018 10:01 pmNo I meant move further away from the city to view it from that perspectiveMpol03 wrote:Why move away when I can expect more from my city?
