I've heard the hotel part of this development will be opening up in April.

I moved to London back in February so the last I saw of this was in the very early stages.

That is amazing - very imposing over the square, what a difference.
:applause:

I am soooo disappointed with these buildings. They look like the sort of thing we should be tearing down, not erecting! Compare the look of these to the Conservatory, Aurora, or even the KPMG building at half the height - they all look so much more modern and pleasing to the eye. These two look like they've come from eastern Europe. Even the low-rise Wolf Blass building looks better. Height for height's sake, IMHO.

Except they're not exactly tall, but I guess it's all relative.

Yeah, I noticed you said before that you think they look good. Each to his own. And I was commenting on how they look in person - I work just around the corner.

They look rather tall on Rundle St but rather ugly too (from the back). I like their look from the front

I inspected some apartments on the 14th floor on 8/1/10 - ($415000 - fantastic view over the square). Then had coffee in coffee shop on SE corner next to Bendigo Adelaide bank. VERY 'city' feel to the square in every direction - reminded me of Hyde Pk Sydney. 20HSQ added markedly to this effect.

ADELAIDE - TOWARDS A GREATER CITY SKYLINE
